STRESS MANAGEMENT & RESILIENCE BUILDING PROGRAMME

Stress management & ReSILIENCE

Stress is part of our everyday life and can’t be avoided. From being under the threat of physical danger or mental distress, to the exhilaration of dating, striving for promotion or moving house, stress is not always bad but it does impact us mentally and physically. Day to day living is a stressful experience but learning how to respond positively to stress can have a really beneficial impact on your life.

Developing resiliency helps us deal with the ups and downs life throws our way and we can learn skills to increase our resiliency such as flexible thinking, problem-solving and self regulation.

The Stress Management and Resilience Building Programme

The Stress Management and Resilience Building Programme is a six to eight session course that can be delivered individually or in groups and is ideal for anyone looking to manage their everyday stress levels and build their resilience.

The course is a mix of psychoeducation to understand how stress occurs and what we can do to manage it, as well as a range of practical techniques to help with both physical reactions and cognitive responses to stress. The sessions can be tailored to include and exclude modules depending on your own needs, goals and previous experience.

Our programme is supported with handouts and exercises for you to take away with you following each session so you can put what you have learned into practice. Any meditation techniques can be recorded during the session and sent to you afterwards.
